HEY
It's been some time since I've really written something. Something that's not quite related to album releases, current hits on the radio or youtube madnesses. Probably because there's nothing to rant about? Usually when I'm writing long entries, it'd be some venting or whining. But then at some point you just get tired of all the rambling, because A) you're just doing it to yourself and B) you do get bored from hearing the same thing over and over again.
And the fact that I'm lazy to think of anything to write, also plays a part, I guess.
But today feels like a less lazy day.
10 weeks of O&G rotation ended just like that. It seems that everything's all too easy but when it comes to examination, everything suddenly seems to be beyond manageable.
It's always been the same. The same thing that repeats by itself, module after module. What can I say.
Are paediatricians nicer people? It definitely feels that way. You really gotta love kids to be a (sane) paediatrician, and people who love kids and can handle kids crying have got to be nicer people, I figured.
Kids are cute. Even when they ignore you, you give them excuses. Actually I totally forgot how to interact with really small kids. Perhaps that because I was just a kid when my brother was still small. And it amazes me how 10 years down the road these kids who scream/run/cry/giggle/ignore you/blow you a kiss/wave goodbye/wink at you whenver they like will behave so differently. You don't see adults who just scream/run/cry/giggle/ignore people/blow others a kiss/wave goodbye/wink at you etc whenever they want. Conformation to society standards? Suppression of feelings? What do you call that?
Does it mean the older you get, the less you're actually acting yourself out?
I was being called a 'sook sook' today at the ward, not by a kid, but by kid's father.
And if I were a kid I would just smack daddy hard and there would be no consequences - and if there's one at most I'd be labelled as a bad kid.
Bu if I did that now - daddy files complaint, and who knows what's gonna happen to me.
Funny eh? It's a totally different world we're living in.
But 'sook sook' is not a pretty name and definitely NOT funny too. (Must be funny to you, I know. LOL)
I'm so going to biotherm and spend my whole savings on anti-ageing face cream + anti wrinkles now.

NEW SONGS ALERT!!! SUGABABES VS GIRLS ALOUD WHAT MORE CAN YOU WANT?!
First let's sample Sugababes' new song for their Greatest Hits album. Song's called 'Easy'. What can I say, the verse is a bit naff, but the chorus is beyond great. The verse itself is very b-side ish but then the chorus just takes the song to a whole new level. So it's not bad at all. Usually greatest hits lead singles are crap, but not this one. It's not as catchy as Push The Button but it's actually quite the opposite - PTB is super catchy at first but then the chorus is just kinda samey, but this one is a grower and you get addicted after the chorus.
Then let's hear what the Girls Aloud camp has to offer! This is also the single for their upcoming Greatest Hits album... Yea it's about time for them to release a GH, cash in a bit and then, split, go solo and each of you will sign a record deal, then probably more than one of you will flop, afterwards you can choose to do some pathetic TV shows... and then be forgotten, you know the routine.
And to my surprise, this tune is actually good. It's a real stomper, and it's much better than their recent stuff. I have to say it's very possible that after listening to it for 5 times you'll get sick of it. But till then, enjoy this radio rip.
Oh and some videos I wanted to post during the pre-O&G exam period but somehow I didn't find time to post. These are great check these out.
